HOW TO BUY A TRUCKLOAD >> What Can I Expect After I OrderWhat Can I Expect After I Order A TruckloadPOSTED: May 25, 2008 12:03 pmHow Long Will It Take To Receive My Truckload/
After you order a truckload of upholstery, it will take from one to four weeks for the arrival. Generally we are looking at about two weeks. Sometimes we can be ready in days. We will give you a time quote, depending upon how busy the factory is.
Will I receive Everything I Order?
Generally you will receive everything you order. We will check on the availability of upholstery covers and you may need to make some substitutions at the time of order, but when your order arrives, it should be complete. There are times when we order too much upholstery that can not fit on the truck. When this happens, they fill the truck as full as possible and you will receive a refund for what does not ship. Sorry, we can't send a truck out to make it up, truckloads only. If you need a couple of extra pieces, you will have to buy them locally.
Will I Know When My Truck Will Arrive?
Yes, we will call you and let you know approximately when your truck will arrive. The truck driver will generally help unload the truck, but not always. You will need 3 to 5 able bodied persons. If you have a dock to unload on, great! We will try to get you the cell phone number for the truck driver but we can't promise this. There is sometimes an hour or more delay from the arrival date, sometimes even a day. You will have help ready to unload and I know that it is very frustrating to deal with delays but it almost always happens. Many problems can occur on the road. There are no refunds for lost time. When you are ready to unload, you only have about two hours to do this so you will have to be ready to rock and roll.
How Will The Furniture Arrive?
Sofas will arrive wrapped in plastic with the legs off to save space and damage. The legs for each sofa are stored in a plastic bag under the seat cushions of the sofa. Love seats and chairs are generally shipped the same way. Sectionals are also shipped this way, with a left and right designation. Reclining sofas have some cardboard in the packing. Recliners are shipped boxed, with the back off for easy installation.
Will I Have Damage And Can I Refuse Something?
Generally we have little or no damage. You must take everything that arrives as the truck will be going to another destination, not back to the factory. Anything you refuse is a gift to the truck driver from you. If there is a minor damage, we will work it out with you with a small refund. No whiners please. If you can't handle real life, we do not want to do business with you.
